Bill Willis is the founding member of Willis Law Firm LLC. He is primarily responsible for all the residential and commercial landlord/tenant matters of the Firm. He also spends considerable time with the Firm's construction, discrimination, and litigation matters. Bill grew up in a "construction" family and started working with property management clients as a law clerk before attending law school. Bill is involved in the Management of Commercial Attorney's Title Company LLC, a licensed real estate title insurance company which caters to the multifamily industry and Real Estate developer's needs.
Bill is a member and serves on the legislature Advisory Board of the Columbus Apartment Association, as well as a member of the Licking County Tax Incentive Review Board, and a past member of the Ohio Housing Finance Agency Advisory Committee. Willis Law Firm LLC has the privilege of representing the Ohio and National apartment Associations in local and state matters throughout Ohio. Willis Law Firm was recently selected by the National Apartment Assosciation to draft Ohio's version of the "National Lease". Bill frequently writes articles for the Columbus Apartment Association, Columbus Board of realtors, Ohio Housing Authority, Ohio Rural Housing, and the Ohio Housing Conference.
Bill received his B.A. in philosophy and history from Dennison University and his Juris Doctorate from Capital University Law School.
